    Abysmal company who breached very specific terms of their motor policy, sent my vehicle to a repairer who should never have worked on my vehicle, bodged repairs, lied to me about parts fitted. Complain handling at Ageas was truly awful and they failed to recognise the pain and additional costs incurred by me. Washed their hands of giving any reasonable recompense and forced me to pursue my complain via The Financial Ombudsman.
    Ombudsman found in my favour although their adjudication was pathetic recompense and I continue to fight for my basic rights.
    Financial Services is a disgusting mess in the UK, largely marketed as a confuseopoly with poor senior management.

    Be very careful with using Ageas as they do not fully pay out on claims. We had a claim with this company for damage to the kitchen but when the builder turned up from the insurance company he said he could not match the tiles so would either replace half the tiles in the kitchen with ones that didn’t match the existing ones or only pay a cash settlement for half the value of the undamaged tiles. Despite trying to argue our case we couldn’t get them to change their position, so are significantly out if pocket. Very disappointing.
