I have a NatWest advantage gold account and it’s worth it just for the iPhone insurance. Both myself and my husband have insurance on our joint account. Usually, iPhone insurance is around £12 per phone per month with your phone provider. For the last 10 years I’ve also used NatWest holiday insurance for the 2 of us and our children.
Type of insurance (e.g. Home/Travel/Motor/Phone/Pet): Phone
I had advantage gold cover and the insurance company were shocking – water damage phone, pre-paid envelope dispatched within 48hrs for return of handset, then 48 hrs for them to tell me it was beyond repair, then 48 hrs for new handset.

My phone was broken on Saturday afternoon (including water damage). I was distraught – my phone broken what would I do? ,but by 10.15 Monday morning I had a new one in my hand ….Brilliant Service – thank you so much.

I have an Advantage Gold Account which is the biggest wast of money ever! I had a claim accepted almost 2 weeks ago for my Nokia Lumia 900 but was told there weren’t any in stock and to call back every few days, which is what I have done. Each time I’ve called back I’ve again been told that they are still waiting on stock, at one point they did offer a different handset, not a comparable handset but a downgrade. I’ve been told on two separate occasions that someone from the “back office” will give me a call back but nobody did. Having just got off the phone to the claims department I am absolutely fuming that I have been lied to these last couple of weeks as you aren’t getting any Lumia 900’s in stock at all, I was offered an 820 instead. Quite frankly the series of handset goes up so 820, 900 & now 920 so why on earth would I accept a lower model than the handset I have and not even a brand new handset but a refurbished one?????? What a waste of money this account is!!!!!!!!!!
