    Great service from Homeserve. Leaking water tank reported and fixed within 3 hours on a Sunday.

    I have been really disappointed with Homeserve’s customer service. All of my electrics blew at 3pm.. I made a call to Homeserve and was told I would get a call back. I heard nothing so rang again only to be told I would just have to wait…after tooing and frooing with a dwindling mobile phone battery and no other phone (due to having no electricity) I was told that an engineer was found but that he was hundreds of miles away! This was at 7.30 pm so he couldn’t come until the next day. He came at 4pm.. 25 hours after my first call. I got offered £40 compensation for the delay yet I now have two empty freezers due to them defrosting and was told to make a claim off my house insurance…Yeah, course, I’ll just pay £50 excess plus then my premiums will also go up next year! I’m not a happy customer at all.
