    DO NOT BUY GEEK SQUAD MOBLIE INSURANCE AS ITS A WASTE OF MONEY. Broken screen so given into carphone warehouse on Tuesday, received a refurbished phone on Wednesday which stopped working by Thursday so back to the carphone warehouse who advised another phone would be delivered Friday. Well after checking the phone is still on it’s way I was told it won’t be delivered until next Tuesday due to Easter my answer to this was, if the phone delivered on Wednesday wasn’t faulty I would not be waiting for another one until next Tuesday. At £14.99 a month I can only say “Don’t Both With The Geek Squad Insurance” as they take your money and the service is poor. Read the online reviews and share this to as many people as possible so no one else wastes their money on the poor service they will receive if they have to use this over priced insurance.

    They are good at setting up your phone, when you first buy it. Yet today I needed help for the first time since I had it set up, so I went into the Carphone Warehouse in Churchill Square (Brighton), but there was no Geek Squad staff in the store and I was told to come back another day! So basically, when I needed them, they were not there for me…Not great, eh?

    I lost my phone on Sunday and it took 3 days for the insurance company to update my IMEI number and the phone still hasn’t been replaced after 8 days which is a disgrace considering I have been paying my insurance now for over a year and have had to pay a £60 excess fee on top of that. The customer service that I received when I went into the local store was an absolute disgrace as they were not helpful whatsoever and the assistant manager did not offer to help to speed up the claim/process.I think this is a disgrace and quite frankly I’m disappointed in the customer support I have been offered

    I cannot praise Geek insurance enough especially the agent who dealt with my claim, Vicky Craig. I had no problems with Geek it was when it was passed over to the couriers DPT who made an absolute shambles with the delivery.
    Vicky dealt with my stress levels perfectly, she was calm and delivered on all her promises to contact couriers, phone me back, check on delivery.

    all of the staff at Geek were amazing. So a massive thankyou from a very satisfied customer. You are the best Vicky.

    took out the insurance at carphone warehouse being told I will be fully covered and that a special offer means that instead of paying £15 a month I’ll be paying £10. After a good few months my phone was lost. This should be covered. I rang to tell them and got told I’m not covered. Only covered for breakdown.

    I would give no stars if possible.

    Well not very happy at moment with my insurance I have taken out with geek squad as just found out because my disabled son dropped his phone near a ramp and lost the battery of the phone it is not covered by the insurance, so don’t know if phone still works. Was told to buy new battery and then if phone not working then it’s covered, as they don’t cover for the battery.

    I advise anyone with Geek Squad to deal with them direct following theft/loss of a phone. Following two unsatisfactory visits to a local Carphone Warehouse store, I called Geek Squad. Fantastic service, quick and polite….. Following a serious assault, my son had his phone taken. This in itself is very traumatic and a helpful, efficient service is a delight after this type of experience! Thank you, Geek Squad!…A very happy customer.

    I have been paying insurance on my iPhone for nearly 30 months now. 30 x £14.99 absolutely claim free! Thats £449.70 almost the price of a brand new iPhone 5! Now I have had someone bump into me whilst on the phone causing me to drop and smash the screen and you are still asking me to pay a £60 pound excess to get it repaired! I think this is a disgrace and quite frankly I’m disappointed in the customer support I have been offered!
