They are one of the most westing time ever dealt with. They send me replacements phone for my phone which was not even 1 week old , the replacement phone I got was used and repaired before , was overheating and switch it self on and off, I get in touch with insurance2go and they told me that they are gonna email me the return label to send the phone back , I have to chose them 2 weeks to send me the email finally after days and hours and keep calling and asking to be send the return label I got it after sending complaints email to head office, moreover after sending the phone 8 days the said we have not got it till I check the tracking and was showing that been delivered I contacted them and I spoke with the same person who told me that is not delivered and I said that the tracking shows that already delivered he told me that from repair centre maybe not updating , again after westing hours yesterday from morning till 16:30 I called back because they should call me but they didn’t I called before they close they claim that the got the phone but I have to pay access because as they said that the phone was damaged by post so i have to pay to sort out my problem which from the beginning was faulty.
Customer before you purchase pay attention; the phone which they send you after claim they are used and been repaired before and they are not working good , and as I been told from them team manager that the phone is not covered from the company under warranty because the been open and fixed from unauthorised repair so it means not been fixed and refurbished and any replacement you received if there is any fault which gurntee there is you have to send it back and you have to wait weeks to get response and weeks to get the phone back apart from what kind of repair been done on the device.

They have taken money from my paypal account for a renewal even though I don’t want the renewal. They have promised to get back to me within 2 days – it is now a week. There customer service is appalling

I am so disappointed with Insurance2go. Want to know the reason? Below in the next paragraph I state why.

I purchased a iPhone 6 Plus 64GB from the Apple Store. I insured myself with Insurance2go. 2 months later my phone had been stolen from my pocket by a Romanian guy in Stratford. I phoned insurance2go to make a claim but was told I have to fill out information online. I put in a claim online by providing a CAD number etc and then had been sent an e-mail requesting for this:

“Proof of usage for your handset: We require proof from your network that your handset has been used, showing the dates of both first and last use. This documentation will need to contain your IMEI number and details of the last time of use. (Please note, we are unable to accept a phone bill as proof of usage, as this does not document the handset’s unique IMEI reference)”.

Not all carriers or if any provide this kind of information as I tried to obtain this from Vodafone. I contacted Vodafone and they told me that they don’t provide that kind of information except for bills.

This put me in an odd situation. I could not be properly be helped by Vodafone or Insurance2go. I have been without a phone for over 3 weeks. Can you imagine how it feels like not to have a smartphone for that long?

Inurance2go are cheap and it shows in their service. Very disappointed. Don’t go with them. You might as well take insurance with your phone carrier – a little more expensive but at least you’ll get your phone sent out to you if it’s lost or stolen within a reasonable time, not like Insurance2go.

I regret taking out insurance with Inurance2go. Stop. Takes too long. It’s been 3 weeks and it’s probably going to take another 2 weeks to get a phone. Rubbish.

    – It took 2 months to receive my replacement I phone.
    – Replacement arrived today loose in a cardboard box with no bubblewrap to protect against it’s journey!
    – The phone has plastic protective sheets over the front and back both of which are extremely grubby. Who knows what damage had been caused through it’s handling en route?! I’ve never ever before received a mobile in such poor packaging!

I’m not impressed by Insurance2go whatsoever and wouldn’t recommend them.

From the time I sent in the required documentation to Insurance2Go, it took nearly four weeks to get my replacement iPhone. I would have rather paid the extra money to get insurance from an insurance company with more scruples.

I rang my insurance company [after dropping my brand new iPhone] and they said they would email me the claim form but it could take a few hours to come through. This was on Friday evening [and no reply over the weekend] so on the following Monday I rang….the man on the phone confirmed my email address and sent the form again but also sent me a form in the post just in case I didn’t receive it…Once again I did not receive the email, even though they have the correct email address which they emailed me my policy details on when I signed up. After waiting 3 days the form finally came in the post and I sent it on Thursday (28th March). On my form it said it would take 2 working Days to process it. Seeing as it was a bank holiday and it was sent first class they received it by Tuesday which means it should be processed by today! So I rang, and apparently my form is with the assessment team and will be processed in 2 working days…The whole process feels very long winded and by time my form is eventually processed it would have been nearing 3 weeks since the phone broke. By time it’s sent off and repaired (assuming they accept my claim) I won’t have had a working phone for over a month!
